Yatra.com launches “Clean Pass” for safe travel services


The Clean Pass aims to provide a safe and sanitized environment in hotels, taxis and buses.

Yatra.com introduces “Clean Pass”, a company initiative to ensure safety measures are adopted by its partner hotels, taxi and bus service providers. This is a promise made by the company to its customers to travel safely at all touchpoints during their journey.

The ‘Clean Pass’ for hotels includes several safety measures such as disinfection of the room and common areas, wearing of masks and gloves by staff, Aarogya Setu app, regular temperature checks , disinfection of the room in front of the guest during check-in and the host of other benefits. For taxis and bus service providers, “Clean Pass” ensures that drivers wear masks and have the Aarogya Setu app, daily driver temperature check monitoring, with the vehicle being sanitized after each trip, a disinfectant to be placed in the vehicle, the driver to maintain zero physical contact. with the passenger, the seating arrangement is made with social distancing in mind.

In mind, we have launched the ‘Clean Pass’ initiative in our partner hotels, taxi and bus service providers in India.Whenever the customer sees the ‘Clean Pass’ badge on our website, he will be assured that the highest security and disinfection measures are in place and will be able to proceed with the reservation without any worries.

There are around 11,120 hotels so far that have been registered with “Clean Pass” including hotels such as ITC Fortune Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, Radisson Goa, Ramada Plaza Chennai among others. The company has introduced the set of controls mentioned below as part of its “Clean Pass” initiative.

Clean Pass for hotels:

* Body temperature monitoring of hotel staff and guests at hotel entry points. Entry denied if temperature is over 99.1 (F) degrees Fahrenheit.

* Rooms will have alcohol-based hand sanitizer and face mask for guest use.

* Room disinfection performed in front of guests upon check-in.

* The hotel staff have the Aarogya Setu app.

* Each member of staff wears masks and gloves at all times during the service.

* Hotel rooms/floors and public areas are cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.

* The hotel offers in-room dining options with minimal contact service and disposable/sanitized crockery and cutlery.

* Hotel staff are careful to maintain social distancing at all times.

* Travel records for each client are maintained in accordance with local and central Indian government guidelines.

* While working with the contractor’s supplier and hotel, adhere to health advisories and government guidelines.

Clean Pass for taxis:

* Daily driver temperature monitoring.

* The driver must wear a face mask, gloves and use sanitizer.

* Have Aarogya setu app.

* Disinfection of the car on each trip.

* No pick & drop service in the containment area.

* AC only in fresh air mode, if required.

* Maintain zero physical contact.

* Only asymptomatic driver to be on duty.

Clean Pass for the bus:

* Hand sanitizers available on all buses.

* Seating arrangement made keeping social distance.

* Mask and gloves mandatory for drivers and assistants.

* Regular temperature checks of drivers and assistants.

* The Aarogya Setu application is installed for drivers and assistants.

* All buses must be disinfected after each trip with hospital grade disinfectants.

* Only asymptomatic driver to be on duty.
