New Covid-19 guidelines for UK passengers have been launched by an industry consortium under the Travel Safe banner.
Travel Safe advice will be posted at airports, ports and at travel agencies and food and drink outlets, supported by a 10-week social media campaign on Facebook and Instagram.
Icon advice urges travelers to pre-order currency, pre-book transport or parking, check-in online, and wear masks, among other precautions.
The campaign is supported by the Airport Operators Association, the UK Travel Retail Forum, Iata and Airlines UK.
Aviation Minister Kelly Tolhurst said: “As people start leaving for their summer vacation, we all need to embrace new ways of travel to keep everyone safe.”
Tim Alderslade, Managing Director of Airlines UK, said: “The well-being, safety and assurance of passengers and colleagues are essential to getting aviation back on its feet. The industry has seen unprecedented changes in recent months, but with simple communication like Travel Safe, passengers are fully equipped for the “new normal travel experience”.
