The Sixfields Travel Club run coaches to away matches in Northampton Town for supporters and run social events throughout the year, and chairman Kelvin Thomas expressed the club’s gratitude to everyone involved.

“We are very grateful to everyone at Sixfields Travel Club for the fantastic support they give to the club,” he said.

“Not only do they travel around the country to support the team, they also support the club financially and to have donated over £250,000 to the club over the past 22 years is a fantastic achievement.

“We would like to thank Barry and Jenny Parker and the entire Sixfields Travel Club board and any supporters who travel with Sixfields Travel Club for their support.”

Barry Parker of Sixfields Travel Club added: “We have always had a strong relationship with the club and it is the wish of our members that we not only support the club by helping supporters travel to away matches across the country, but that we also support the club through donations and sponsorships.

“As Cobblers fans that is what we are here to do and we are very proud to have reached such a milestone by donating £250,000 to the club.

“This would not be possible without the support of all of our members and travelers and we are so grateful to everyone who has traveled with us.”
