Manifest travel club launched by the former CEO of Frontier Airlines

Senior airline executive Jeff Potter is behind the launch of a new travel and lifestyle membership service, Manifesto.

Potter stepped down as CEO and President of Surf Air in 2017 and was previously a boss at Frontier Airlines for five years until 2007 and held the same position at Vanguard Airlines for one year in 2000-2001.

The idea behind Manifest, which Potter founded, is to operate a platform that connects its members to getaways to exclusive destinations in the United States via private planes.

The Colorado-based company claims to have received more than $ 2 million in funding from HNWI and Potter. He is currently in the process of completing a round table.

Manifest will feature “chapters” from clubs positioned in the top 50 to 60 US source markets, based on household income and consumer propensity to purchase business and first-class fares.

Each will be limited to 175 members. The first chapters available to join now include Denver (with flights departing from Centennial Airport), the San Francisco Bay Area (San Jose Airport) and Los Angeles (Van Nuys Airport).

The cost to members is $ 2,500 per year.

Potter says, “I have been fortunate in my career in aviation, hospitality and travel, as every opportunity has given me successes and, just as importantly, lessons learned, which have come true. all of which came in handy when considering the concept of Manifest.

“Although I have been fortunate enough to travel all corners of the world, I still think there is a lot to discover in a few hours from where we live. This is especially true now, in the midst of COVID- 19 – we are always looking for moments of excitement and discovery, but in destinations much closer to home. “

Other chapters are planned in Santa Barbara, San Diego, Phoenix, Seattle and Portland in the coming months.

The team includes Kelly Tompkins (product manager, ex-founder of AdventureLink and LeisureLink), Dan Cohn (vice president of corporate strategy, ex-Delta exec), Margaret Harrell (director of commercial operations) and Cam Thiel (director of member services, ex-United and Inspirato exec).
