The two organizations have started work on integrating Cathay Pacific’s NDC content into the Amadeus travel platform.
Today, Cathay pacific, supported by Amadeus technology, deepens this commitment to NDC by planning to offer a range of content available on the Amadeus travel platform, to the world’s largest network of travel vendors. This announcement builds on Cathay Pacific’s existing distribution strategy, supported by the carrier’s use of Amadeus AltÃ©a NDC.
The two organizations have started work on integrating Cathay Pacific’s NDC content into the Amadeus travel platform. This will ensure that Amadeus travel agents around the world will be able to search, compare, book and service Cathay Pacific content through NDC in a merged display, alongside other content, in a familiar booking environment. Cathay’s new NDC offerings will include content such as seat selection, fare families and special fares. Essential features such as ticket exchange and refunds will also be available.

Travel sellers are expected to be able to make Cathay Pacific NDC bookings through Amadeus NDC solutions – Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, Amadeus Travel API from Q1 2022 in multiple markets. Additionally, Amadeus’ flagship business solution, Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense, will be able to process Cathay Pacific bookings through NDC in 2022. The airline’s NDC content will then be gradually rolled out globally to support reach all users logged into Amadeus. agents.
