The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) has officially appointed African Origin Travel and Tourism as the Authorized Ticketing and Hospitality Agent for Ghana’s participation in the International Football Federation Under-20 Women’s World Cup (FIFA) in Costa Rica.
Africa-based travel and sports tourism, which has a proven track record in handling global events, including the FIFA World Cup and the recent AFCON in Cameroon, should ensure the proper treatment of officials, fans , players and other key stakeholders during and after the three-week tournament.
The Black Princesses of Ghana would make a sixth appearance in a bid to advance to Stage 16 for the first time.
Ghana are housed in Group D alongside USA, Netherlands and Japan.
African Travel and Sports Tourism is to liaise with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and provide comprehensive logistics and travel services.
Additionally, packages would be available for fans planning to join the Black Princesses in North America for the Mundial.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup takes place from August 10 to 28 with 16 countries.
