Accor has partnered with the SHe Travel Club, an independent hotel label designed by women for women.
SHe Travel Club leverages technology and individual women’s feedback to create a hotel label specifically designed to meet their expectations and requirements.
Accor’s main brands, including Sofitel, MGallery, Novotel and Mercure, will be part of a pilot project of 50 hotels in Europe and the Middle East to encourage the roll-out and growth of Label She.

Maud Bailly, Managing Director Southern Europe and Co-Chair of the RiiSE Network for Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Accor, said: “Caring for people is in Accor’s DNA and this collaboration represents a extra step to ensure our ecosystem is a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy. Welcoming others, adapting and valuing their differences is one of the founding principles of our managerial ethics.
Women make up 64% of global travellers, but according to SHe’s global survey of 5,000 women across five regions, 85% consider their needs not fully met by the industry.
The labeling process evaluates hotels according to four categories: security, comfort, service and dining and entertainment, and offers three levels (Silver, Gold and Platinum) of catering for all hotel segments.
More than two hundred hotels around the world are already certified by the SHe Label.
Valérie Hoffenberg, founder of the She Travel Club, declared: “I am delighted to initiate this partnership with Accor. Our SHe Label aims to promote hotels that adapt their offers to the specific expectations of women travellers. Our SHe label contributes to positive change in the empowerment of women everywhere.
